Evangelism Committee

The Evangelism Committee meets on the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. The Committee Chairperson is Joe Welker and can be reached at (610) 562-7958. Please contact Joe if you would like to learn more about joining St. John's. Our Committee members include: Faith Welker, Pastor Uhler, Tom and Jean Strause, Terrie Moseman and Sandy Wargo.

Our Mission Statement:

The mission of St. John's Evangelism Committee is to stimulate and deepen the spirituality within our congregation while continuing to find opportunities to broaden our church membership. 


The objectives of our committee are to:

Welcome members of our community who are not active church members and are looking for a church home. 
Ensure that our congregation meets the needs of a diverse community 
Assist new members as they familiarize themselves with congregational life. 
Conduct regular follow-up on visitors and prospective members. 
Implement programs for reclaiming inactive and unresponsive members 
Conduct periodic church attendance campaigns

Welcome Table after the summer worship services
