Fellowship Committee 

Purpose

• Promote fellowship in the congregation.

• Plan activities and events for the congregation to come together and participate

• Provide coffee fellowship throughout the year (i.e. Easter Sunday, First Sunday in Advent)

• Set-up table display of fellowship events at the yearly Stewardship Fair at the church.

• Provide fellowship by hosting the yearly church picnic.

• Provide assistance to other committees and organizations as requested to provide services (i.e. drinks and refreshments) for many different events at the church. (i.e. Dessert First Stewardship Committee programs, carol sing, youth group events, Hamburg Lutheran Cluster, etc.).

• Provide fellowship through bus trips to events.

• Assist with special events (i.e. Live Nativity, Children’s Angel Breakfast).

• Provide fellowship by hosting dinners (i.e. New Year’s Day pork and sauerkraut, and Spaghetti dinners)

• Assist with fellowship refreshments and meals for Christian music groups at church (i.e. Captive Free)

New Members Welcome      The Fellowship Committee is always seeking new members to serve on this committee. The committee also is looking for individuals to provide baked goods for events throughout the year. If anyone is interested in becoming a member, interested in sharing their baking talents, or would like further information regarding this committee, please contact the church office at 610-562-3808.
