Why                                                                       

1.  Physical Development:  To offer activities to help a child pass through stages of neuromuscular development; therefore, improving large and fine muscle control.
2.  Social and Emotional Behavioral Development:  To aid the child in developing group awareness, sharing, etiquette, love and concern for others and a good self image.
3. Intellectual Development:  To offer activities to broaden the child’s general awareness and develop his cognitive processes.
4. Creative Development:  To offer an opportunity for the child to express individuality through varied mediums.

When                                                                       

Our Pre-Kindergarten class is held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for children entering kindergarten the following school year. Our pre-school classes are on Tuesday and Thursday: Morning class 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.; afternoon class 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. Classes run September to May.

Cost                                                                       

Tuition is $70.00 per month for pre-school and $140.00 per month for Pre-Kindergarten. Payment is due on the first of each month. Checks are made payable to KINDER KLASS.

Ages                                                                      

Children from 3 to 5 years of age are eligible to register.  We require the child be 3 by September 1^st and be completely toilet trained.

Class Size                                                             

Enrollment for the Tuesday/Thursday class is a maximum of 16 students per class. Each class is instructed by two teachers. Enrollment for the Pre-Kindergarten class is a maximum of 28 students. This class is instructed by two teachers and two aides.

Clothing                                                               

We recommend comfortable play clothes, and sneakers are required for safety during tumbling and climbing activities.

Evaluation                                                          

The teachers are available for parent conferences as requested.  Monthly newsletters are sent home to summarize class activities.

Registration                                                      

To register your pre-school child, complete the application and mail with a $25.00 non-refundable registration fee. Classes are assigned on a first come first serve basis. Checks are made payable to KINDER KLASS. We will begin accepting applications on Feb. 21 for families who are currently enrolled in Kinder Klass and for the general public March 1.
