 CONFIRMATION

A fresh change is happening with the confirmation program. We use “Here We Stand Confirmation” a Lutheran internet based program, which brings the Biblical, Theological and Contemporary culture together. It covers three essential Christian/Lutheran teachings: Old Testament, New Testament and Luther’s Small Catechism.

First Year Catechetical Class (with Pastor Kistler) covers:

CONFIRMATION AND THE YOUTH GROUP CONNECTION

“Here We Stand Confirmation” program utilizes a variety of resources (skits, Lutheran Handbook and multi-media that are a supplement to the program).

CONFIRMATION AND ADULT CONNECTION

A youth may come to you and ask you to share your faith story with them, discuss something of faith with you, or invite you to come to class. Please be a part of their faith journey. Both of you will get closer to each other and to the Lord.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN CONFIRMATION

Any youth in 7^th grade or higher who has not joined a church and is interested in joining St. John’s, as well as participate in the catechetical program should contact Pastor Uhler or Jamie Wolfe at (610)562-3808.
