St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church SUNDAY FAMILY WORSHIP

3rd Sunday of the month
*(with the exception of June, July and August)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! As we begin the New Year at St. John’s, we are excited to share with you something new and different that we call: “Sunday Family Worship”. On the third Sunday of each month is Sunday Family Worship. What makes Sunday Family Worship different than a regular Sunday service you may ask? On this Sunday, there is participation by the Sunday School children, the Junior Choir, and the Youth Praise Band under the direction of Kate Kauffman and Justin McClure. Also, Pastor Uhler does a “Children’s Chat.” …And the liturgy has been simplified to fit this service. Finally, it’s a “family” service. Families are welcome and St. John’s extends a friendly invitation to the Hamburg community and surrounding area to join us. There is something for everyone at Family Sunday Worship.

3^rd Sunday of the month
from September through May at 10:15 a.m.

2012 Family Sunday Worship schedule is:
Feb. 19^th, March 18^th, April 15^th, May 20^th,
September 16^th, October 21^st, November 18^th and December 16^th.

Souper Bowl of Caring

Sunday, February 5th, 2012 at the 10:15 a.m. Worship Service

Youth will be standing at the exits of the church on Sunday, February 5th with pots to collect offering for the Northern Berks Food Pantry. The offering is used to buy the needed food supplies to help needy people in the area. We will accept offering beyond this date.
