We have a staff of volunteers that dedicate their time and service to
teaching at St. John’s. We’re very appreciative of their commitment to
Christian Education and teaching our children the values we believe in
our Lutheran faith. The Sunday school curriculum is Christian based with
the majority of it being Lutheran.

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL AT ST. JOHN's 2007 This summer's Sunday School is going to a "Bible Blitz". Getting kids into the Bible and the Bible into kids.
Here's how it works. Each week, during each lesson, Kids will use the Bible - exploring key passages and helping to build a solid faith foundation for life! Kids will love the Bible - experiencing skits, music videos, and powered-up praise music and always surprising activities. Kids will live the Bible - to help the kids live God's word. Summer Sunday School is geared for children Kindergarten age through 6th grade. We meet as one group in the downstairs Primary room between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. simultaneous to the summer worship service. Below is a Summer Sunday School calendar. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SUMMER 2008 "BIBLE BLITZ"

Fruits of the Spirit
A Pentecost
Presentation Presented by the Sunday School Pentecost is the season of the Holy Spirit, of witness and mission, filling workers with the excitement of the Good News of Jesus Christ, Savior and King. Pentecost is also a time to focus on the Fruits of the Spirit. In Galatians 5:22 we read: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control." These attributes, along with generosity and humility, are the focus of the Sunday School's presentation. |
