Cabin Rules

1.
A responsible leader (21 years or older) MUST be in camp at
all times.
2.
Troop 184 or St. John's Lutheran Church, Hamburg is not held responsible
for any theft, loss of property or personal injury.
3. Any damage to the building, structures, or woodland, you will be held
responsible by payment in cash.
4.
There will be NO writing or burning on the walls, floors,
furniture, or benches in the cabin, the benches around the fire circle and
pavilion and inside the shelter.
5.
N0 CUTTING OF LIVE TREES
-- a charge of $10.00 per inch of
diameter.
6.
Fires are to established in designated areas only. Wood in wood shed
for cabin fireplace only. Wood for fire circles must be cut from dead wood lying
about.
7.
Each unit is asked to do some conservation project while in camp.
8.
BURN
all paper. ALL garbage is to be
packed out.
9.
The woodbin is to be filled to the base of the window.
10.
NO SMOKING INSIDE THE CABIN.
11.
Hold a fire drill out the second floor but stress fire escape is not a
toy to be played with.
12.
Stay off all building roofs.
13.
NO FIREARMS IN CAMP.
14.
NO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES ALLOWED IN CAMP.
15.
Stay on scout property-go up the mountain, not down. Boundaries marked
with white paint.
16.
Must leave cabin and latrine swept and kitchen floor washed down before
departing.
17.
On site water is provided.
18.
Directions for latrines: Do not throw any metal or plastic down the
chute. Only biodegradable material should go in the tank.
19.
All fires, either in the cabin or outside must be monitored at all times.
This includes the coal stove.
20.
A $25.00 security deposit is
required It will be refunded if there are no problems at time of departure.
