Who is Day Camp for?
Day Camp is for children that completed kindergarten through 6th grade.
What is St. John’s Day Camp?
An action packed week-long event of crafts, games, singing, snacks, swimming, and fun activities designed to get children excited about living a life for Christ. Bear Creek Camp counselors bring the adventure to Day Camp at St. John's.
What is the cost?
Day Camp is very reasonably priced. Only $50 includes games, crafts, daily snacks/drinks, pool pass, programming/staff, group picture, and so much more. The actual cost would be $130.00 although we have been able to subsidize a significant portion of the cost for each camper through generous gifts and support from St. John’s congregation and Thrivent Financial.
What do I need during the week?
Bring a packed lunch, water bottle with name, and a willingness to have fun! Wear sneakers/shoes for walking, running, and playing games. On pool day children will need bathing suit, towel, and sun screen.
Throughout the week we take the children to the park. On water day, we go to the Hamburg Community Pool (weather permitting.) Everyone is invited to a special presentation at St. John’s during 9:30AM family worship service on the Sunday following Day Camp.
